The subject of research on affecting investment decisions of foreign Investors attracted a bunch of interest of academic researchers in the world. However, the field of investment in Nghi Son Economic Zone in Thanh Hoa province has very little research on. That is reason why I selected this subject for my thesis research: “A study on factors affecting investment decisions of foreign Investors (FDI) in Nghi Son Economic Zone, Thanh Hoa province”. The purpose of the research is to find out the factors impacting on foreigners’ investment decisions to Nghi Son EZ in Thanh Hoa province.The research incorporates quantitative research by developing a scale for determning factors affecting foreign investors’ investment decision in Nghi Son EZ with 25 observed variables combined with qualitative research to assess most preferential conditions of Nghi Son Investment Enviroment to investors’ decision of investing. Through qualitative research with factors such as Politics, Infrustructure, Investment Cost and Investment Incentives, the researcher have some assessments about investors’ decision are those: both 4 independent variables positively affect the dependent variable in the research model because of positive beta coefficient, of which the Incentives has the greatest influence, then the Incentives, Investment Cost and Politics. The Infrustructure variable has the smallest Beta; therefore, this variable has smallest impact on the investment decision.Evaluating the factors affecting investment decision of foreign investors to Nghi Son EZ in the past time, the solutions for enhancing investment strategies for attracting investors has been proposed to help Nghi Son EZ to improve the environment and investment conditions, improve the socio-economic conditions of Thanh Hoa province, that is the practical meaning that the project has achieved.Key words: Investment Decision, Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), factors, Nghi Son Economic Zone (EZ), Thanh Hoa province.
