Abstract
E-commerce is a new business model that uses information technology (IT) to realize consumer online shopping, online transactions between enterprises, and online electronic payments.With the development of telecommunications technology and the emergence of 5G, e-commerce is playing an increasingly important role in economic activities. More and more enterprises have accepted e-commerce because of its advantages, such as wide channels, low cost, and freedom from physical restrictions. Under the severe situation of the COVID-19 epidemic, e-commerce has developed rapidly with its own advantages and has become an additional driving force for economic development and consumption expansion. Studying the correlation between e-commerce and economic growth is not only of great significance for promoting economic growth, but also for the development of the global economy and the transformation of economic structure.At present, discussions on the impact of e-commerce on economic growth divided into two types. One is that e-commerce has a positive effect on economic growth, and the other is that e-commerce has almost no effect on economic growth.Based on research related to e-commerce and economic growth in China and abroad, this article empirically analyzes the growth rate of e-commerce companies, online retail sales growth rate, e-commerce sales growth rate, the growth rate of internet penetration and regional GDP growth rate in 31 provinces of China from 2011 to 2020.Taking China as an example, this article mainly answers two questions: How does e-commerce affect economic growth. Verify whether e-commerce has a positive impact on economic growth.For the analysis part of this article, Fixed Effects Model were used. Use regression analysis model to study the relationship between e-commerce and economic growth. This article analyzes the relationship between e-commerce and economic growth from a macro perspective, which is of great significance of the development's study direction of the global economy.
통신기술과 5G의 등장으로 전자상거래는 경제활동에 중요한 역할을 하게 되었다. COVID-19가 심각한 상황에서 전자상거래는 자체 강점을 갖고 경제발전과 소비를 늘리다. 새로운 동력이 되고 있다. 전자상거래와 경제성장의 상관관계를 연구하는 것은 단순히 경제성장을 촉진하는 데 그치지 않고 세계 경제와 경제발전방식의 전환에도 의미가 있다.본 논문은 중국 31개 성의 2011년부터 2020년까지 전자상거래 기업 성장률, 온라인 판매 성장률, 전자상거래 시장 거래 증가율, 지역 GDP 성장률 데이터를 적용해 실증적으로 분석한다.전자상거래가 경제성장에 미치는 영향에 대한 논의는 크게 두 가지로 나뉜다. 하나는 전자상거래가 경제성장에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 것이고, 다른 하나는 전자상거래가 경제성장에 거의 영향을 미치지 않는다는 것이다.본문은 중국을 예로 들며 크게 두 가지 질문에 답한다. 전자상거래가 경제성장에 어떻게 영향을 미치고 전자상거래가 경제성장에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는지 검증한다.
