Abstract
Since the reform and opening up in 1978, China's economy has been developing rapidly. Annual growth rate reached 9.8%. With the development of economy, China's transportation investment is also increasing. After the economic crisis in 2008, the Chinese government introduced a $40 thousand investment plan, which accounts for a large proportion of investment in transportation infrastructure. As of 2012, China's total railway length immediately after the United States, ranked second in the world. The total length of highways in the world, ranked first. n this case, we need to study more Chinese investment in transport infrastructure for economic growth results. In order to determine whether the need for more investment in the future. To investigate whether the stimulating effect of transport infrastructure investment on economic growth. This paper has three research purposes. First, combined with the previous case, to analyze the factors affecting the economic development of the region. Second, use spatial econometric model, combined with factors of regional economic development, investment in infrastructure to analyze whether the adjacent areas to the economic growth in the region will bring benefits.Third, the combination of empirical analysis, in order to better develop the economy on future investment in transport infrastructure put forward reasonable proposals.According to previous research, this paper selects the regional GDP as the dependent variable, the amount of investment in transport infrastructure, the length of railways, road length, fixed asset investment, the number of the working population as independent variables empirical analysis.Analyze data using China's 31 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions in 2003--2015 years of panel data analysis software Stata12.0 and GeoDa.Analysis is divided into two steps. The first step in the independent variable factors not considered adjacent areas. The second step using spatial econometric model to analyze spatial weights added. The first step analysis showed that the road to economic development has a positive correlation. The second step analysis showed that investment in transport infrastructure adjacent areas for the economic development of the region has a stimulating effect. Thus, the railway construction has been saturated regions appear. According to the need to increase the scale of construction of roads, to better serve the economic development. It is also an important means of economic development. In addition, from the national level construction of railways, highways considerations, the provinces can not be isolated. Neighboring areas because the infrastructure investment in economic growth in the region will also provide impetus. To this end should strengthen provincial transportation construction
