Multinational R&D Labs which have various types have been invested rapidly into China for last ten years. This study emphasizes on the kinds of organizational characteristics of Multinational R&D Labs in China. And when Multinational cooperations setup their R&D Labs they have adopt the appropriate management control strategies with their advantages. So we hope to explore the relationships between Multinational R&D Labs' organizational characteristics and control strategic characteristics through investigating the choice of their control strategies. This is a study of moderating control strategies between the Multinatio -nal R&D labs in China, their charateristics and business performances, based on the research literature and research models presented before presenting a dozen hypotheses. In addition, to verify this hypothesis through four times＇surveys, data collection and empirical analyses were performed. The results are summarized as follows.Firstly 90 samples were analysed through country by frequency analysis, industry, regional, R&D lab research forms. Secondly the result of the factor analysis shows the explanatory power covering 69% of total variance and its Eigen Value is higher than 1.0.
