Cu계 Chalcogenide 화합물을 이용한 광촉매 및 태양전지에 대한 연구 / A study on the photocatalysts and solar cells made of Cu-chalcogenide compounds

Abstract
CuO, ZnO와 SnO를 2-methoxyethanol, thioglycolic acid와 2-aminoethanol에 분산시켜 Cu2ZnSnS4를 제조하였다. Cu2ZnSnS4가 충분히 성장하도록 용액을 일정 온도에서 방치한 후 300℃에서 열처리 하였다. 같은 방법으로 ZnO 대신에 FeO, MnO, NiO를 이용하여 Cu2XSnS4(X=Zn, Fe, Mn, Ni)를 각각 제조하였다. 얻어진 화합물들은 가시광선 영역에서 흡광이 발생하였다. Cu2XSnS4(X=Zn, Fe, Mn, Ni)화합물들은 P-25에 비하여 가시광선 영역에서 뛰어난 촉매활성을 나타냈으며 Cu2NiSnS4, Cu2MnSnS4, Cu2FeSnS4, Cu2ZnSnS4 순으로 광촉매 활성이 증가하였다.
Cu2ZnSnS4 was prepared by dispersing CuO, ZnO and SnO in 2-methoxyethanol, thioglycolic acid and 2-aminoethanol. The solution was allowed to stand at a constant temperature and annealed at 300°C so that Cu2ZnSnS4 was sufficiently grown. In the same manner, Cu2XSnS4(X=Zn, Fe, Mn, Ni) was prepared by using FeO, MnO and NiO instead of ZnO. The obtained compounds underwent absorption in the visible light region. Compared with P-25, Cu2XSnS4(X=Zn, Fe, Mn, Ni) compounds exhibited excellent catalytic activity in the visible region and increased photocatalytic activity in the order of Cu2NiSnS4, Cu2MnSnS4, Cu2FeSnS4 and Cu2ZnSnS4.
