Abstract
In order to carry out safety performance assessment of the aging of the electrical facilities in Busan Urban Railway, selection of weights for each assessment item should be needed. Therefore, this study was conducted to select the safety performance assessment of electrical facilities in Busan Urban Railway by applying Analytic Hierarchy Process, one of the scientific techniques. A survey and consultation of Analytic Hierarchy Process were conducted by experts with the analysis of the results. The classification for the electrical facilities, the weight of the assessment method for each medium classification facility, and the weight of assessment items for each unit facility was confirmed. Finally, through case analysis with confirmed weights applied, a safety performance analysis method was proposed. The results of this study could be used when the safety performance of electric facilities in an Urban Railway is to be assessed. It could be applied to select indices and grades, and to establish and to improve investment strategy for an urban railway system.
