Economic globalization is the main trend of the world nowadays which to a considerable extent is promoted by international direct investment. with the integration of global economy, direct investment has gradually outnumbered government aid, debit and credit in the international financial market and become the most important foreign investment resource. It is significant to study the relationship between foreign direct investment and industry economic development. Ever since late 1970s China's financial has made great achievements utilizing foreign direct investment. Foreign direct investment has mitigated the problem of lack of funds in China's financial. Brought about new technology and managing experience into the province and Promoted the adjustment and improvement of industrial structure. To what extent has foreign direct investment influenced the economic development in China's financial? Is there Causality between them? If we can analyze and illustrate these questions through demonstration, it must be a positive driving force to China's financial investment policies and also a good conclusion of the experience of using foreign investment in the last 30 years. Based on the conclusion of the views from scholars both home and abroad, this paper firstly summarizes the relevant theories of the relationship between foreign direct investment and economic development. then on the Statistical methods integrating the situation of foreign direct investment utilization in China's financial. ln the end this paper brings forward the Policy suggestion that more foreign investment should be attracted to accelerate the economic growth in China's financial, discusses the positive and negative Influence of foreign direct investment on economic growth and financial's strategic choice after China joined the WTO.
