Abstract
With the deepening of China's economic development in the process of globalization, people pay more and more attention to the development of cultural industry, which creates a good external environment for the flourishment of art market. Chinese painting market has developed rapidly with the progress of economy. Its functionality has expanded from a collection hobby to the investment appreciation, thus resulting in the change of the relationship between value and price of Chinese painting works, as well as the change in the price decision system of entering the market. Nowadays, how to determine the value of Chinese painting among art works has attracted great attention of investors in Chinese painting market. This paper selects Zhang Daqian, a great artist in the field of Chinese painting for the study on the relationship between different characteristics and styles of his works at different stages and the market value, analyzes the price formation system of Chinese painting market from points to lines, clarifies the influence and relationship between Chinese painting market and the art market from lines to surface, analyzes factors affecting the value of Chinese painting in details from several aspects of the macro environment of market development, the micro environment of the attributes of Chinese painting works, supply and demand theory and consumption behavior of Chinese painting market, and the development trend of the pricing system of Chinese painting market, and sorts out the price formation system of Chinese painting. Before that, this paper clarifies the value characteristics of Chinese painting works, and seeks the market law of value and price of art works as well as painting works through the research on the price formation system of art works different from general commodities, with the theoretical basis of art price difference research such as cost theory, supply and demand theory and consumer behavior theory. Through discussions on Chinese painting works of Chinese artist Zhang Daqian, this paper sorts out the content of Zhang Daqian's humanistic attributes, clarifies the characteristics of his works in different periods, of different styles and different themes, analyzes the value differences of his works with different attributes, and finds out the law between the value of his works and the market price. In addition, it analyzes the relationship between the market trading institutions of Chinese painting works such as galleries, auction houses and network platforms and Zhang Daqian's works, and correctly defines the artistic value of the works themselves, so as to transform the value of the works into the market price more accurately and form a virtuous circle for the development of Chinese painting market. By describing the particularity of Chinese painting works, which are influenced by academic environment, market environment and cultural environment, this paper analyzes factors of the price formation system of Chinese painting market and the necessity and feasibility. It analyzes the impact of the price formation system of Chinese painting market from the macro perspective of the global economic market, and makes it clear that the price of Chinese painting is not only related to the external macro-economy, but also related to the factors of its own attributes from the micro perspective of the attributes of Chinese painting works, the emotional involvement and investment demand of consumers, as well as micro formats of auction houses, galleries, art fairs, Internet platforms for Chinese painting circulation. And it analyzes how these factors play a role in the price formation system of Chinese painting. According to the research and analysis, this paper puts forward how to establish the price evaluation system of Chinese painting and improve the price formation system of Chinese painting market, and thinks about the future research trend of the development of the pricing system of Chinese painting market.
