Abstract
이상규가 작곡한 가야금독주와 관현악을 위한 수상곡 “고엽(枯葉)”을 분석한 결과 악장별 구성은 다음과 같다. “고엽”은 총 208마디, 전체 3악장으로 구성되어있고 조성에 따라 4부분, Tempo와 조성의 변화에 따라 6부분으로 나눌 수 있었으며, 선율분석에 따라서는 총 10부분으로 나눌 수 있었다. 각 부분의 악장을 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 제 Ⅰ악장, ♩= ca40 (좀 느리게), 박자는 4/4, 조성은 E♭로 되어있고, 선율 구분에 따라 4부분으로 나누어진다. 1악장의 전체적인 음 진행은 B♭→ E♭→ G→ B♭ 음 중심으로 이루어져있다.2. 제 Ⅱ악장, ♩= ca60 (보통 속도로), 박자는 4/4, 조성은 E♭, A♭ 로 되어있고, 선율 구분에 따라 2부분으로 나눌 수 있으며, 가야금의 새로운 주법으로 훑는 주법이 사용되었다. 음 진행은 1악장과 같은 음 진행과 이를 바탕으로 B♭→ E♭→C(G)→ B♭음으로의 진행, 혹은 F→ E♭ → G→ B♭→ C음으로의 진행과 같이 구성음을 추가하거나 변형하였다. 관현악에서 현의 색감을 특징적으로 나타내기 위해 옥타브 이상의 음들을 자유롭게 배치하였으며, 꾸밈음과 전성을 사용하여 음색의 변화를 주고 있다.3. 제 Ⅲ악장, ♩.= ca45 (빠르게) 박자는 6/8 조성은 E♭ → ♩.= ca65 박자는 6/8 조성은 E♭과 ♩= ca45~(사라지듯이) 박자는 2/4, 3/4 조성은 E♭으로 되어있고, 선율구분에 따라 4부분으로 나눈다. 전체적인 음 진행은 G-C-E♭-C-G의 주요 선율을 사용 한다. 이상규 작곡 가야금 독주와 관현악을 위한 수상곡 “고엽(枯葉)”은 표제음악으로 가을빛 진한 찬란한 단풍에서 낙엽 되어 바람에 날리는 모습을 형상화하여 작곡된 곡이다.
This paper analyzes "KOYUB", the water music for Gayageum solo and orchestra composed by Lee Sang gyu. The composition of each movement is as followed. "KOYUB" consists of 208 phrases or three movements in total and can be divided into six parts by tempo and four parts by tonalities.Following are the findings of the analysis.1. The First Movement shows the tempo of ♩= ca40 (Andantino), common Time 4/4, tonality of E♭, and it is divided into four parts by melody. The overall melodic flow of the first movement is mainly constructed by B♭→E♭→G→B♭.2. The Second Movement shows the tempo of ♩= ca60 (Moderato), common time 4/4, tonality of E♭ and A♭, and it is divided into two parts by melody. This movement also uses threshing as a new style of rendition for Gayageum. The melodic progress is based on the progress that is similar to the progress in the first movement. It also displays some variations in the progress by addition of constructing note such as B♭→E♭→C(G)→B♭ or F→E♭→G→B♭→C. To express the string instruments' characteristic sense of notes, this movement includes notes that are above the octave range and present variety in melody by using ornament and bouncing.3. The Third Movement shows the tempo of ♩.= ca45 (Allegro) with six-eighth time 6/8 and tonality of E♭, the tempo of ♩.= ca65 with 6/8 and E♭, and ♩= ca45~(perdendosi) with time of 2/4, 3/4 and tonality of E♭. This movement is divided into four parts by melody.
