노인요양시설 종사자가 인식하는 미용복지 서비스 연구 : 네일케어를 중심으로 / A Study on Awareness of Welfare Services Related to Beauty Care in Employees of Senior Care Facilities: with priority given to nailcare

Abstract
본 연구는 미용복지 서비스 중 노인요양시설 종사자를 통한 네일케어의 필요성에 대해 알아보고 노인의 손발톱 현황을 파악하여 노인복지에 기초자료로 제공하기 위해 연구를 실시하였다. 본 연구는 20대∼50대의 서울 경기 지역 노인요양시설 종사자를 대상으로 2021년 5월 2일부터 5월 6일까지 온라인 및 직접 방문 조사를 실시하였으며, 배포한 설문지 총 310부 중 분석에 부적합한 10부를 제외한 300부를 최종 분석자료로 사용하여 다음과 같은 결과를 도출하였다. 첫째, 노인요양시설의 미용 프로그램 현황 및 인식에 대해 노인들이 손발마사지를 가장 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 미용 프로그램에 대한 인식에 대해 대부분의 노인요양시설 종사자들은 요양사들의 미용교육이 필요하다고 인식하였으며, 정부의 예산 및 지원 시 미용교육을 받을 의향이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 네일케어 관심도를 묻는 문항 중에 네일케어(손, 발)에 관심이 있다에 가장 높은 인식을 보였으며, 네일케어 관심도는 그다지 높지 않았다. 넷째, 보호노인의 손발톱 상태는 손톱 형태는 라운드형, 월평균 손톱길이 조절 횟수는 한달에 2회가 가장 많았다. 발톱 형태는 라운드형, 발톱 색상은 약간 노란색, 발톱두께는 두꺼운편으로 나타났다. 이상의 분석결과를 종합하여 보면 노인요양시설의 종사자들은 미용 프로그램에 대한 관심도가 높으며 세분화된 미용교육이 필요하다고 인식하는 것으로 나타났고, 네일케어 관심도가 높을수록 네일케어 지식이 높음을 알 수 있었다.
This study was conducted to find out the necessity of nail care through elderly care workers among beauty welfare services and to identify the status of nails and claws of the elderly and provide basic data for the welfare of the elderly. This study conducted an online and in-person survey of elderly care workers in their 20s and 50s in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province from May 2 to May 6, 2021, and used 300 copies of the 310 questionnaires, excluding 10 inappropriate for analysis, as final analysis. First, it has been shown that elderly people prefer hand-to-foot massages the most for the current status and perception of beauty programs in nursing facilities for the elderly. Second, most elderly care workers recognized the need for beauty education for nursing homes, and were highly willing to receive beauty education when the government budgeted and supported them. Third, it showed the highest perception that it was interested in nail care (hand and foot) among the questions about nail care interest, and the nail care interest was not very high. Fourth, the nail condition of the elderly who are protected is round nail, and the average monthly nail length adjustment was the highest twice a month. It has a round toenail shape, a slightly yellow toenail color, and a thick toenail thickness.The results of the above analysis showed that workers at elderly care facilities were highly interested in beauty programs and recognized the need for detailed beauty education, and the higher the interest in nail care, the higher the knowledge of nail care.
