도시와 농어촌지역 중학생의 토요휴업일 활용 실태 분석 / An Analysis on Actual Conditions of Middle School Students' Off-school Saturday in Rural and Urban Areas

Abstract
(국문초록)이 연구는 2006년도부터 전면적으로 시행되고 있는 「주5일 수업제」에 따른 도시와 농어촌지역 중학생들의 토요휴업일 활용 실태를 알아보는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 통하여 「주5일 수업제」의 문제점을 파악하고, 이의 적절한 개선방안을 마련하는데 도움을 주기위한 것이다. 이와 관련하여 다음과 같은 세 가지 연구 문제를 설정하였다. 첫째, 도시와 농어촌 중학생들은 토요휴업일을 어떻게 활용하고 있는가? 둘째, 토요휴업일의 활용 실태와 만족도에 있어서 지역별, 남녀학생별, 성적별 차이가 있는가? 셋째, 토요휴업일 활동에 대한 시간계획은 얼마나 조직적이고 체계적인가?이상과 같은 연구 문제를 해결하기 위하여 선행연구 고찰 및 문헌연구를 토대로 질문지를 작성하여 실태를 알아보았다. 질문지는 전라남도 도시지역과 농어촌지역 소재의 중학교 2학년과 3학년 640명에게 지난 1년간의 토요휴업일 경험을 토대로 응답하도록 하였다. 질문지 내용은 토요휴업일 활용 실태에 관한 문항, 토요휴업일의 조직적 · 체계적 활동과 관련한 문항으로 구성하였다. 회수된 질문지는 SPSS 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 조사 대상자의 인식과 토요휴업일의 활용실태를 알아보기 위하여 빈도와 백분율을 산출한 후, 집단간의 차이를 알아보기 위하야 χ2검증을 실시하였다. 집단간의 차이 검증을 위한 통계적 유의수준은 p
(Abstract)This research aims at investigating the current situations and problems related to the implementation of middle school students' off-school Saturday in rural and urban areas due to the five-day school week system that has been established since 2006.In the course of my research, I examined three particular issues; First, what are the actual conditions of off-school Saturdays for rural and urban middle school students?Second, in the actual conditions, would the differences vary depending on regional characteristics, the students' sexes, the students' school records? As well, would there be differences in levels of satisfaction?Third, would the planning of the activities for middle school students' off-school Saturdays be systematical?Finally, this research is conducted to seek measures to solve and improve the conditions of middle school students' off-school Saturdays.To achieve the goal of this research, a questionnaire was designed to gather basic information after investigating previous studies related to off-school Saturdays. 640 middle school students in second and third grade from rural and urban areas in Jeollanam-do Province were selected using the random sampling method, and this data was used for final analysis.
