Abstract
Ethical leadership is quite recent leadership theory. Leader's ethics researchhave treated existing transformational leadership and authentic leadership.However, transformational leadership emphasize visionary, value andintellectual stimulation. Authentic leadership also do perception leader'sauthenticity. Ethical leadership theory is based on social learning theory.According to social learning theory, person who are learning others' act andattitude imitate their role models. Leader emphasize communication, moderatehis act with moral person and have an influence with follower in ethicalleadership. Look into existing research, ethical leadership effect on varianceabout individual. Consequently, I proceed that ethical leadership effect onorganizational citizenship behavior and team performance.Organizational citizenship behavior is expression of attachment oforganization with an act spontaneous and out-role. Because of not happenswith rewards or under pressure, it gets an influence on leader. Performancedoesn't happen directly by organizational citizenship behavior. Nevertheless, itmust be need to get goals in organization. Nowadays, because of gettingsmaller team, person usually have to do decision-making. So leader have tocommunicate and propose the rules to properly make a decision.Result of this study shows that ethical leader promote follower's actthrough communication. Moderating roles of organizational identification andethical climate only effect on between ethical leadership and teamperformance.
