중국 사회가 점점 더 노령화되면서 노인 사용자를 위한 가구 디자인이 점점 더 중요해지고 있다. 노인들은 전통적인 가구를 더 선호하며 특히 명나라 스타일 가구가 가장 대표적이다. 그러나 일부 연구에 따르면 현재 시장에서 판매되는 노인 가구의 대부분은 가구 디자이너나 대중의 일반적인 인식, 그리고 디자이너 자신의 개인적인 경험에 의해 디자인되고 있으며, 실제로 노인 사용자들의 선호와 요구에 대한 철저한 연구와 분석이 이루어지지 않고 있다. 이로 인해 노인을 위해 디자인된 가구들은 시장에서 노인 사용자들의 호응과 인정을 받지 못하고 있다. 이로 인해 본 연구는 노인 사용자의 선호와 요구를 고려한 가구 디자인 방법을 명나라 스타일 가구를 중심으로 탐구하였다. KJ, AHP, QFD와 같은 다양한 기법들을 통합하여 노인 사용자의 요구를 디자인 요소로 전환하고 노인 가구 디자인과 개발에 적용하였다. 이를 통해 차별화된 노인 가구 디자인 방법과 미래의 노인 가구 디자인에 대한 새로운 방향을 제시하였다. 이에 대한 구체적인 내용과 과정은 다음과 같다. (1) 전형적인 사용자 그룹을 구성하기 위해 중국 노인들의 명나라 스타일 가구에 대한 선호도를 설문 조사 방법을 활용하여 분석하였다. Q 방법을 사용하여 노인 사용자들을 4개 그룹으로 나누고, 각 그룹의 특성과 선호도를 분석하였다. (2) 사용자 연구 단계에서는 육하원칙(5W1H) 질문과 방문 조사를 통해 노인 사용자의 요구를 상세하게 파악하였다. (3) 모델 구축 단계에서는 KJ 방법을 사용하여 노인 사용자의 요구를 계층적으로 정리하다. 이어서 AHP 방법을 활용하여 사용자 요구 지표의 중요도를 분석하고, 기술적 특성으로 전환하기 위해 품질 기능 트리(QFD)를 적용하여 4가지 전형적인 사용자 그룹의 디자인 모델을 구축하였다. (4) 모델 검증 단계에서는 제3장에서 분석한 4개 그룹의 특성과 선호도를 제4장의 디자인 전략과 비교하여 상관 관계를 확인함으로써 디자인 모델의 타당성과 정확성을 입증하였다. 이어서 디자인 전략에 있어서 가장 빈도가 높고 중요한 상위 2개의 전형적 사용자 그룹을 선택하여 그들에게 적합한 노인 가구 디자인을 구체화하였다. (5) 구체적인 디자인 방안을 기반으로 테스트용 가구를 제작하였으며, 제작된 가구를 노인 사용자들이 직접 관찰하고 실제로 체험하게 한 후에 설문 조사를 통해 가구의 만족도를 평가하였다. 검증 결과, 본 연구에서 제안한 접근 방식은 디자이너로 하여금 대표적인 노인 사용자 그룹의 선호와 요구를 파악하고 그에 적합한 디자인을 하는데 도움을 줄 수 있으며, 노인 사용자의 만족도를 향상시킬 수 있음을 확인하였다. 본 연구는 정확하게 전형적인 샘플을 만들기 위해 연구범위를 중국 강서성으로 한정하였다. 그러나 이는 본 연구 결론에 지역의 한계성이 존재하게 했으며, 이 연구 주제에 대한 더욱 심층적인 연구 진행를 통해 지역 간 차이를 탐구할 수 탐구할 수 있기를 기대한다.
As Chinese society ages, designing furniture for elderly users is becoming increasingly important. Traditional furniture, particularly Ming-style furniture, is preferred by the elderly. However, most of the elderly furniture available in the market is designed solely based on the experience of designers, without thorough research and analysis of the preferences and needs of elderly users. As a result, elderly users have not responded positively to the furniture designed for them. To address this issue, This research focuses on furniture design inspired by the Ming style and tailored to meet the preferences and needs of elderly users. The study combines KJ, AHP, and QFD methods to translate the requirements of elderly users into design elements that can be applied to create furniture for the elderly. Thus, a differentiated design method for elderly furniture was proposed. The process includes: (1)A questionnaire survey was conducted to analyze the preferences of Chinese elderly people towards Ming-style furniture. Using the Q method to divide elderly users into four groups, Analyzed the characteristics and preferences of four groups. (2) Obtaining comprehensive user needs through the Six He Analysis Method (5W1H) and household surveys. (3) Organizing user needs hierarchically with the KJ method, obtaining demand indicators, analyzing their importance using AHP, and constructing design models for four typical user groups. (4) Validating the model's feasibility and accuracy by comparing characteristics and preferences with the design strategy. Selecting top 2 typical users for elderly furniture design practice. (5) After generating the design scheme, elderly users experience the product, followed by a questionnaire survey to evaluate satisfaction. The innovative model captures the real needs of different elderly user groups, guiding precise design and improving user satisfaction. This study limits the scope to Jiangxi Province, China, and can accurately create typical samples. However, it also makes the conclusion of this topic have regional limitations. Further research on the topic can explore regional differentiation.
