본 연구자는 현재 추어지고 있는 여러 전통춤 중에서 허튼춤, 입춤, 교방춤을 대상으로 각 춤에 나타나는 미의식을 학술적으로 도출하고 이를 기반으로 공연무대를 통한 직접적인 시연에 그 목적을 두었다. 허튼춤은 감정을 풀어 가는 데 여러 개의 수많은 곡선으로 풀어 가는 것이 특징이다. 그렇기에 허튼춤은 형(形)의 춤이라고 하기보다는 선의 연결로 이루어진 춤이라 볼 수 있다. 허튼춤이 아무런 형식이 없이 개인의 성향이 짙게 표현되는 춤이라고 한다면 교방춤은 형식과 틀을 정형화하여 관객에게 보는 즐거움을 선사하기 위해 정교하고 정갈한 춤사위를 연결 지어 구성된 아름다운 여인의 춤이라고 할 수 있으며, 교방춤의 춤사위에는 그 안에 깊은 내공이 담겨 있다. 따라서 교방춤의 내면적, 외면적 움직임 특성은 춤을 추는 과정에서 볼 수 있는 체의 연속적 창조 속에서 그 태를 가지고 있으며, 호흡에서 비롯되는 한과 멋 흥의 미학의 유기적인 결합과 음, 양의 조화를 통해 우리 민족의 움직임의 자연성을 만들어 낸다. 결국 위의 학술적인 기반을 통하여 실연을 목적으로 두고자 하는바, 안무 구성을 크게 허튼춤판, 교방춤판, 수건춤판 세 가지 부분으로 구성하였다. 첫 번째 허튼춤판은 무용수 6명, 두 번째, 교방춤판은 무용수 1명 그리고 마지막 수건춤판은 7명 모두가 출연하는 연출기법을 구사하여 공연에 임하였다. 전통춤은 화려한 기교와 기법이 없어 보이지만 가락을 타고 흐르는 몸짓과 호흡, 손 사위, 발디딤의 멋스러움은 극히 말로 표현할 수 없을 만큼 정교하고 섬세하며 웅장함까지 추는 이에게 감흥을 준다. 따라서 전통춤 안에 우리 민족의 한과 혼이 담겨 있다고 말할 수 있으며, 또한 기쁨과 환희까지도 춤 안에 스며들어 있다는 사실을 공연을 통하여 몸소 체험 하였다.
The purpose of this study is to investigate Nonsense Dance, Mouth Dance, and Gyobang Dance among the traditional dances currently being performed to derive the aesthetic that appears in each dance academically and is in a direct demonstration through performance stage based on the findings. Nonsense Dance is characterized by a number of curves to release emotions. Therefore, Nonsense Dance is a dance made up of connection of lines rather than a dance of shapes. If Nonsense Dance is considered as a dance in which individual tendencies are expressed in a way without any rules, Gyobang Dance can be considered as a dance of beautiful women composed of exquisite and neat dance moves and the dance moves of Gyobang Dance contains deep inner workings. Therefore, the inner and outer nature of Gyobang Dance's movements is that it is shown in the continuous creation of body shown in the process of dancing, and creates the nature of our people's movements through organic binding of resentment and style that come from breathing and balance of yin and yang. This study prepared a demonstration through the academic foundation above, and the choreography consists of three parts as Nonsense Dance Version, Gyobang Dance Version, Towel Dance Version. The first Nonsense Dance Version was performed using a directing technique by 6 dancers, 1 dancer for Gyobang Dance Version, and 7 dancers for the last Towel Dance Version. Traditional dance appears to have no fancy techniques, but the gesture and breathing that flow with the tune and the coolness of hand gestures and stepping are exquisite and delicate beyond words and inspire those who dance with grandeur. Therefore, it can be said that the traditional dance contains the sorrow and soul of our people, and experienced the fact that joy and happiness are permeated into the dance through the performance.
