Abstract
L. v. Beethoven 12 Variations for Piano and Violoncello in F Major Op.66은 Mozart의 오페라 <>에서 주제를 가져와 작곡한 변주곡으로 장식적 변주에 그쳤던 이전 시대의 관습을 깨고 각 변주곡에서 성격적인 대조를 보여주는 작품이다. 피아노의 선율과 첼로의 반주로 구성된 곡으로 연주에 있어서 피아노의 비중이 큰 곡이다. F. Liszt의 Im Rhein, im schönen Strome, Mignons Lied, Die Lorelei, Der Fischerknabe는 리스트 특유의 서정적인 선율과 화려한 반주부를 가진 독일 가곡이다. 시어의 묘사와 가사의 내용에 따른 많은 변화가 돋보이며 반주부가 독자적인 음향을 만들어 후기 낭만적 성향이 엿보인다. E. Grieg Sonata for Piano and Violin in c minor Op.45는 노르웨이 민속선율과 리듬이 사용되어 그리그의 민족주의적 색채감이 잘 반영된 작품이다. 전 악장에 걸쳐 짧은 모티브가 변형, 발전되고 페달 포인트가 빈번하게 사용되어 그리그 특유의 음악적 성향이 잘 보여진다.
12 Variations for Piano and Violoncello in F Major Op. 66 of L. v. Beethoven, a variation with a theme brought from the opera by Mozart, is a piece which shows characteristic contrast in each variation, breaking an old custom of decorative variations. It consists of piano melody and cello accompaniment. The piano plays an important role in performance. Im Rhein, im schonen Strome, Mignons Lied, Die Lorelei, Der Fischerknabe is a German song which has the peculiar lyrical melody and fancy accompaniment of Liszt. Description of the poetical languages and changes according to the contents of lyrics are conspicuously observed. Characteristics of post-romanticism period are also noted by the independent sounds in the accompaniment part. Sonata for Piano and Violin in c minor Op.45 by E. Grieg is a piece which well reflects the nationalistic colors of Grieg by using traditional folk melody and rhythm of Norway. It demonstrates the unique musical characters of Grieg by showing that short motives are modified and developed throughout the whole parts, and pedal points are frequently used.
