Abstract
The purpose of this study is to categorize age-friendly home modification projects currently underway in Korea according to the project contents, and to present an improvement plan for the implementation process and manpower that reflects the characteristics of the project by analyzing the actual status of the project. To this end, a survey was conducted on coordinators who had participated in age-friendly home modification projects, and some coordinators were selected to hear in-depth opinions and additional interview surveys were conducted. In this study, age-friendly home modification projects were divided into 3 types such as ‘Improvement of housing performance’, ‘Home modification for aging’, and ‘Home modification for discharged patient’. The following is a summary of the main research results shown in this study to suggest improvement plans for age-friendly home modification: 1) It is necessary to clearly set the purpose of age-friendly home modification projects and to develop a specialized age-friendly home modification project to fit the purpose. 2) It is necessary to clarify the role of coordinators and secure manpower. 3) It is necessary to provide formal and systematic education and data/information on age-friendly home modification.
본 연구는 현재 우리나라에서 진행 중인 고령친화 주택개조 사업을 사업내용에 따라 유형화하고, 이를 통해 사업 수행 실태를 분석하여 사업 특성을 반영한 실행과정 및 인력에 대한 개선방안을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 고령친화 주택개조 사업에 참여한 경험이 있는 중간개입자를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 심층적인 의견을 듣기 위해 일부 중간개입자를 선정하여 추가 인터뷰조사를 실시하였다. 본 연구에서는 고령친화 주택개조 사업을 '주택성능개선', '노화대응', '퇴원환자 대응'이라는 3가지 유형으로 나누었다. 본 연구에서 나타난 연구 결과를 정리하여 고령친화 주택개조를 위한 개선방안을 제시하면 다음과 같다. 1) 고령친화 주택개조 사업 목적을 명확히 설정하고, 목적에 맞게 특화된 고령친화 주택개조 사업이 필요하다. 2) 중간개입자의 역할을 분명히 하며 인력을 확보해야 한다. 3) 고령친화 주택개조에 대한 공식적이고 체계적인 교육 및 자료/정보를 제공해야 한다.
