본 연구에서는 이선선택형 가상가치평가법(DC CVM)을 활용하여 중국 와룡자연보호구의 보존가치를 평가하고자 한다. 가설적 편의를 최소화하기 위해 본 연구에서는 가상적 상황과 실제상황을 적용한 2단계 가상가치평가법을 이용하여 와룡자연보호구의 보존가치를 측정하였다. 본 연구에서 로짓모형을 통해 추정한 결과, 제시금액, 학력, 관심도, 월평균소득, NEP(자연중심, 인간중심), 지지도, 방문의도가 지불의사에 영향을 미치는 변수로 나타났다. 연간 1인당 와룡자연보호구의 보존가치는 평균값(WTP mean)을 기준으로 할 때 가설적 상황은 297.21위안(한화 약 56,809 원)이고, 실제상황 1은 204.28위안(한화 약 39,036 원)이며, 실제상황 2는 107.15위안(한화 약 20,481 원)으로 추정되었고, 총가치(중국 쓰촨성 인구수, 83,674,866명 고려)는 절단된 평균값을 기준으로 할 경우 약 235억 7천만 위안(한화 약4조 5천 억원)으로 평가되었다. 이러한 추정결과는 중국 와룡자연보호구와 같은 생태관광자원의 지속가능한 보존을 위한 학술적, 실무적 시사점을 제공할 것이다.
This study aims to estimate the preservation value of Wolong National Nature Reserve in China using the dichotomous contingent valuation method (DC CVM). In particular, this study used two-stage CVM, including a hypothetical setting in the first stage and a real setting at the second stage to minimize hypothetical bias. The results of the logit model reveal that bid, education, NEP(nature-oriented and human-oriented), monthly income, support, and visit intention were significantly related to the probability of willingness to pay for the preservation funds for Wolong National Nature Reserve. The results also show that the preservation value of Wolong National Nature Reserve was estimated to be 297.21 CNY(56,809 KRW) per person based on the hypothetical scenario, 204.28 CNY(39,036 KRW) based on the real setting 1 scenario, and 107.15 CNY(20,481 KRW) based on the real setting 2 scenario, respectively. Based on the total population(83,674,866 in Sichuan Province, China), the total preservation value was estimated to 23.57 billion CNY(4.5 trillion KRW) using the truncated WTP. The findings of this study will provide theoretical and practical implications for the sustainable preservation of ecotourism resources such as Wolong National Nature Reserve.
