This study was conducted with the aim of examining the history of the Korea University Taekwondo Federation(KUTF) through four senior Taekwondo officials to find out the influence of the Korea University Taekwondo Federation on the history of Taekwondo development. Studies have shown that the KUTF is moving forward through periods such as the beginning and the leap forward. In 1973, the KUTF was founded in 1973 by Taekwondo instructors, but it was not active from the beginning. However, since 1977, a few people have tried to develop the KUTF in earnest. In order to induce the participation of many universities at the time, the university's president, politicians, and journalists were nominated as president of KUTF rather than Taekwondo experts. In the late 70s and early 80s, through discussions, debates, and public debate by Taekwondo scholars, it has become more active than other martial arts today. In the follow-up study, based on the confirmed facts, the scope will be expanded to elders who did not participate in this study, and more specific historical facts will be investigated based on the situation at that time and the elders' experiences. In addition, through sequential research, we will try to summarize the overall development history of the KUTF, and to provide data that can help you think deeply about the future development direction.
