Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine how dramatized activities using personal narratives focused on peer conflict situations in classrooms affects language competence and pro-social behavior among young children. The subjects were two classes consisting of five-year-old children each at a kindergarten in A city, Gyeonggi-do. One class was an experimental group with 20 children and the other class was a comparative group with 20 children. The experiment was conducted 14 times over 7 weeks. Pretests and post tests were administered before and after the experiment. The experimental group performed dramatized activities using program personal narratives focused on peer conflict situations in classrooms and the comparative group performed story telling activities using personal narratives focused on peer conflict situations in classrooms for 14 times. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 29.0. First, the results revealed that the experimental group who performed dramatized activities showed a statistically relevant difference in language competence after the experiment. Second, the experimental group a statistically relevant difference in pro-social behavior after the experiment compared to the comparative group.
본 연구는 일상적 내러티브를 활용한 교실 안 또래갈등상황 극화활동이 유아의 언어능력과 친사회적 행동에 미치는 효과를 검증하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 연구대상은 A시 만 5세 유아 40명(실험집단 20명, 비교집단 20명)으로 활동은 7주 간 14회 실시되었다. 실험집단에는 일상적 내러티브를 활용한 또래갈등상황 극화활동을 실시하였고, 실험집단은 일상적 내러티브를 활용한 또래갈등상황 이야기나누기를 진행하였다. 활동 적용 전⋅후 유아의 언어능력과 친사회적 행동 검사를 실시하였으며 수집된 자료는 SPSS 29.0 으로 빈도분석 및 t-test를 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째 일상적 내러티브를 활용한 교실 안 또래갈등상황 극화활동은 유아의 언어능력에 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 일상적 내러티브를 활용한 교실 안 또래갈등상황 극화활동은 유아의 친사회적 행동에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
