본 연구는 1935년 동충의가 저술한 『중국솔각법』이 가지는 체육사적 의미를 고찰하기 위해 서적의 제사와 서문을 분석하고 해석하였다. 당시 사회지도층이었던 군인이거나 정치인 4명과 당시 무술교육에 많은 영향력을 가졌던 5명 등이 써준 제사는 이 서적이 가지는 사회적 위상이 높았다는 점을 알 수 있었다. 이어 5개의 서문에서는 이 책이 가지는 역사성, 실용성, 현대성을 살펴볼 수 있었다. 이러한 점에서 이 서적은 당시 군사적 효능과 강한 중국인을 양성하는 데 필요한 솔각이라는 중국 무술의 근대화 모습을 담고 있는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.
The purpose of this study is to analyze and interpret the recommendations and prefaces of the book in order to examine the meaning of the history of physical education in 『Jongguk Solgakbeop』 written by Dong chung ui in 1935. Four politicians who were social leaders at the time, and five people who had a lot of influence on martial arts education at the time, showed that the social status of this book was high. In the following five prefaces, the history, practicality, and modernity of this book were examined. In this regard, it was confirmed that this book contained the modernization of Chinese martial arts, which was necessary for military efficacy and strong Chinese cultivation at that time.
