Abstract
We have developed a ultrahigh-speed, high-sensitivity, color camera using an 80-thousand-pixel CCD(image sensor) that can capture events at 1,000,000 frames/sec. This camera capable of shooting phenomena too fast to be perceived by the human eye would make it feasible to capture moving images of decisive moments at events like a baseball game played at nighttime.
