Abstract
Absorptions of the 32 carbon atoms of streptolydigin, a 3-acyltetramic acid, have been assigned in its 13C NMR spectrum, as have the adsorptions of tirandamycin and related degradation products. Methods employed in assigning the individual carbons include off-resonance decoupling, single frequency decoupling, and comparison studies with appropriate model compounds.
