Case 1 is a 60s-years-old man with multiple advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) with portal vein tumor thrombosis (PVTT) in the first left branch (Vp3) was admitted to our hospital. Drug-Eluting Beads Transcatheter Arterial Chemoembolization (DEB-TACE) was done with epirubicin. Subsequently, radiotherapy to area of the PVTT was performed. DEB-TACE was performed three times in total and CR was achieved. Case 2 is 80s-year-old man with advanced HCC. He had been treated with conventional-TACE with miriplatin three times, however, HCC with PVTT was recurred. Radiotherapy was done to PVTT and c-TACE with cisplatin was done two times. HCC with PVTT was recurred again. DEB-TACE with epirubicin was performed one time and CR was achieved. Although careful indication is required, it was thought that DEB-TACE can be considered as a treatment for HCC with PVTT up to VP3.
