In this paper, a questionnaire survey on the maintenance and management of residential fire alarms was conducted and the following conclusions were obtained. The fact was shown that the need to increase the installation rate of residential alarms in bedrooms by considering the actual residential fire damage. It was clarified that people who did not inspect their home alarms had a high percentage of problems with their home alarms, and the need for regular inspections was pointed out. It was described that publicity in various media with devising ways to give information is necessary for the spread of replacement of residential alarms.
