Abstract
Very few reports have been made on cytological feature of sebaceous carcinoma of the ocular adnexa which is a rare tumor in ocular region. We reported a 72-year-old man with sebaceous carcinoma possibly arising from caruncle. Imprint smear from the tumor cut-surface revealed adenocarcinoma. The most charactaristic feature was ample and foamy cytoplasm with strong positivity for Sudan III stain. Electronmicroscopically and immunohistochemically, some tumor cells were found to show a tendency toward squamous differentiation.
