Abstract
The study proposes a small sized reduction device for robot and mechatronics devices using elastohydrodynamic lubrication. The proposed reduction device could be simply and cheaply manufactured by the conventional machining method and easily downsized because of no requirement of tooth profile. The verification model was manufactured by way of experiment based on the principle of reduction mechanism and verified the function as a reduction device.
