Abstract
1. The date showing 50 percent positive HI reaction in swine was 21th of August in the southern district. The positive rate showed 95 percent at maximum in the southern district, suggesting that the decreasing amount of Culex Tritaniorhychus which transfer the JE virus from swine to human being is lessening.2. The rate of pupils and teachers having value under 10 in HI reaction was 72 percent before their receiving vaccination in a certain upper secondary school and that of outpatients was 81 percent in a hospital near pigpens in Kurashiki City.
