Abstract
The PDM and PLM systems with the authority data of 3D model (MBD) is going to be established worldwide. However, the model deformation through their workflow is coming out as the serious issue. Deformations happen while translation and archive of model data, and over upgrade of CAD systems. FAA requests the aviation industry to clearly define the checking process against this issue. We developed the validation tool for the issue. This paper describes the real examples of deformation problem in USA and Japan, analyzes the cause of deformation, and effectiveness of our validation technology.
