Abstract
Temperature distribution in a sloped greenhouse with vegetation was studied based on the experimental results of the environment made in the greenhouse located in Mikamocho, Tokushima prefecture. Greenhouse film temperature and temperature profiles along the slope and in the vertical direction in sunny and cloudy days were discussed. In the daytime, the temperature at the upper part of the slope was 2-3 degree higher than that at the lower part, but there was merely a slight difference between them in the night time of both sunny and cloudy days. A mathematical model for predicting film temperature and temperature profiles in the greenhouse was proposed. This model was made assuming that vegetation parts and aerial parts in the greenhouse were distributed along the slope at even intervals. These parts were divided into many blocks, and heat balance equations in all the blocks were numerically solved under the unsteady state condition.
