Abstract
The structures of boehmite and lepidocrocite has not been determined. It is said that these minerals have several candidate in space group and the position of hydrogen atoms is only different. Therefore, there is room of symmetry and the hydrogen’s position of boehmite and lepidocrocite. Rietveld refinements on the neutron diffraction patterns were conducted on the basis of disorder phase and order phase. The residual of fit of disorder phase was slightly less than that of order phase.
