Abstract
This subject’s integrated study is based on the peculiar geographical and geological characteristics of Oita prefecture. Teaching was practiced with children from the upper grade of kindergarten to the end of primary school. We attempted to find out how to evaluate the quality of children’s learning from their processes of learning and records. This project was carried out by Oita University, the Oita Prefectural Art Museum and the Oita Prefectural Education Board from 2016 to 2019. We examined two sample cases of learning in a workshop entitled ‘Making colors out of regional animals, plants and minerals and expressing life colors by seeing and feeling’ were carried out by the museum. We followed the guidelines [the three main domains of qualifications and abilities] made by the Ministry of Education, we tried to analyze the quality of children’s learning.
