Abstract
We prepared poly(vinyl alcohol)/hydrophilic smectite hybrid films by coating acrylic resin. The properties of hybrid films such as transparency and Coefficient of linear Thermal Expansion(CTE) were evaluated by TMA and Vis measurements. These measurements revealed that the hybrid film containing 22.5wt% of smectite maintained high transparency and the CTE was lowed to 18ppm/K.
