Abstract
Iron phthalocyanine (FePc)-graphene composite exhibits 4-electron pathway, and can be used as a Pt-free oxygen reduction reactions (ORR) electrocatalyst. Therefore, FePc-graphene composite is expected to have various applications. We focused on the interface interaction between graphene and FePc molecules, and FePc thin films, grown on a CVD monolayer graphene. They were investigated using atomic force microscopy (AFM) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). As a result, it is suggested that FePc molecules preferentially adsorb on the domain boundary of graphene, and that charge transfer occurs from graphene to FePc.
