Abstract
An inquiry survey of the use of local ventilation system for kitchen was conducted by utilizing internet research method. The purpose of the survey intended for the occupants, who have relatively-new kitchen, was to find the aspect of cooking, use of ventilation system and setting of air flow rate. The result of analysis, which indicates use of the ventilation system and the cleaning frequency depend upon the sort of cooking, are shown. The results can be used not only for the planning of kitchen and its ventilation system but also for the investigation of energy consumption.
