Abstract
3D Printer is expected as a major tool for additive manufacturing. Although 3D printer works well when its products have only to be shaped surely, it is difficult to make machine elements by 3D printer. In gear manufacturing, 3D printer hardly applied to make gears because of the strength and precision issues whitch is caused by the existence of lamination interfaces. In this study, the authors try to build some test gears with using 3D printer for the purpose of simplifying gear manufacture. The test gears are built in several different laminating angles. Then those gears were tested by power circulating-type gear testing machine and measured there accelaration viblation on its test gear box. The hobbed gears also tested and measured the same way as a reference. Then FFT analysis has been executed to find the relationship between vibration and laminating direction. Then the difference of vibration whitch is caused by the laminating direction has been found.
