We compared laboratory findings between subjects with fatty liver diagnosed by scoring of hepatic echo level, hepatic vein obscurity, and deep attenuation, and other subjects without fatty liver in our health science center. Factors that affected fatty liver were, firstly, body mass index, following by ALT, TG, AST, and HbA1c, in that order. These result suggest that fatty liver is closely related to lifestyle-related diseases, and that life style modification is useful to decrease fatty liver.
