Abstract
Twisted bilayer graphene is a stack of two graphene sheets that rotate in-plane with each other, and exhibits an electronic state different from that of usual Bernal-stack bilayer graphene. Analysis of the two-dimensional band mapping by ARPES revealed that the Dirac velocity decreases anisotropically with the decrease of the twist angle, and that there are multiple small band gaps. These band structures have been reproduced by calculation, and the detailed electronic structure of a-few-degree twisted bilayer graphene has been clarified.
