Abstract
A canker disease of Cupressus macrocarpa in Kenya, caused by Monochaetia unicornis (Cooke and Ellis) Sacc, is compared with a disease on the same host in California caused by Coryneum cardinale Wagener and the similarity of the two diseases noted. The disease in Kenya appears to be confined to the highlands east of the Rift Valley.
