Abstract
Sociology teachers should take a larger role in helping students write better. Better student writing improves both the teaching and the learning processes. A program for teaching writing as an integral part of sociology classes is presented. The program has been tested in a variety of courses (from introductory to advanced) with encouraging results. Suggestions for implementation are offered.
