Abstract
Des changements similaires affectent les industries à travers la stratigraphie du Bois-Ragot (Vienne) et de Pont d'Ambon (Dordogne). Les deux sites, distants d'environ 200 kilomètres, recèlent un assemblage azilien à bipointes symétriques, caractérisé par un débitage au percuteur de pierre tendre, dont la méthode s'apparente encore à celle du Magdalénien supérieur. Cet "Azilien ancien" est surmonté dans les deux cas par un assemblage à monopointes asymétriques, dérivant d'un débitage nettement plus simplifié. L'originalité du gisement de Pont d'Ambon réside dans l'existence d'un ensemble terminal d'affinités laboriennes, riche en pointes de Malaurie et caractérisé par la très grande qualité du débitage. Similar changes affect the industries through the stratigraphy of Le Bois-Ragot (Vienne) and Pont d'Ambon (Dordogne). Both sites, about 200 km apart, contain an Azilian assemblage with symmetrical bipoints, characterized by a soft stone hammer debitage, which method is still close to that of the Upper Magdalenian. This "old Azilian" is overlayed in both sites by an assemblage with asymmetrical monopoints, produced on a much more simplified debitage. The originality of the site of Pont d'Ambon is the presence of a terminal assemblage with Laborian affinities, containing many points of Malaurie and characterized by the very high quality of the debitage.
