Abstract
The article discusses the plans that the U.S. Army has of replacing its Virtual Battlespace 2 (VBS2) shooter game. Funding for a replacement for the VBS2 is awaited and a game maker for the same is expected to be appointed in 2012, the contract awarded in 2013 and the new game deployed in 2014.
