Abstract
The article discusses the new strategy of the U.S. soldiers of thinking like an insurgent rather than focusing on improvised explosive devices (IEDs) in an attempt to reduce casualties. The key aspects of the Mobile Counter-IED Interactive Trainer (MCTT) developed based on Hideshi Sasaki's concept are highlighted.
