Abstract
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been criticized for his failure to implement 'big bang' liberalization measures that would have supported economic growth. However, Modi claims that his policies helped control corruption and attract foreign investments. His plan to further liberalize the nation's labor laws is also discussed.
