However, it has not been introduced into production lines because of the lack of an appropriate control technique and positive quality control. With a view to introducing the plastic region fastening method into production lines, appropriate fastening control was investigated. Finally, both the angle method with a range of compensation and a quality control method based on detection of the yield point were established. They are currently being used by Toyota on many of their engine parts.
