Abstract
The article reports that the Pakistan Army may receive up to 30 Al-Khalid-1 main battle tanks (MBTs) by the end of 2017. The MBTs are to be delivered by the Pakistan-based Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT) and some of the unique capabilities being offered by the MBTs are highlighted.
