Abstract
A 33 year-old man was seen in the surgery clinic of the General Hospital because of painful bowel movements and rectal bleeding. Syphilitics proctitis is a diagnosis that fits this patientEs presentation and timeline.The histologic findings of syphilis is typically described as severe inflammation predominantly with plasma cells.
