Abstract
A study was conducted to evaluate the causes of Ehrlichia and the emergence of a new pathogenic Ehrlichia species inWisconsin and Minnesota in 2009. Results indicated the presence of a new Ehrlichia species and highlighted the need to create a greater awareness of the same among medical practitioners.
