Alan Smith, youth director at Fulham football club, David Kohler, owner of Luton Town football club, and Nigel Wray, who holds a controlling interest in Nottingham Forest football club, all have links with the UK property industry. Smith was the youngest-ever partner at London Shop, where he managed a subsidiary company. Kohler studied urban land management, and still uses his property experience in his management capacity at Luton Town football club. Wray is chmn of property company Burford.
