Abstract
A study was conducted to evaluate the efficacy and safety of gene editing of CCR5 in autologous CD4 T cells of persons infected with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). Results indicated that CCR5-modified autologous CD4 T cell infusions are safe, but within the limits of the study.
