Abstract
A multicenter, noninferiority randomized trial was conducted for patients undergoing treatment with coronary stents releasing either zotarolimus or everolimus to determine the differences in efficacy and safety between the two types of stents. The new-generation zotarolimus-eluting stent was found to be non-inferior to the everolimus-eluting stent in a population of patients who had minimal exclusion criteria.
